In the past six years, the Alpenverein Südtirol (AVS) has digitalised more than 16,000 kilometres of trails and has developed a trekking information system that is unique in Europe. At present it offers 670 route proposals, 24,000 signpost references and 32,000 information references (peaks, lakes, mountain huts etc.) and it is constantly being extended. By clicking on a tour, you obtain information about its length, difficulty, conditions and height differences. Also individual tours can be planned and saved on one's own account. Data can be loaded  into a GPS system or printed out.
